Mangalore – Coorg – Mysore tour

Day 01 : Arrive Mangalore – Coorg (Kodagu)
Arrive Mangalore Airport / Railway station (Kasargod Railway station is more closer). On arrival, proceed to Coorg (150 kms / 3 hrs). Coorg is famous for its natural greenery and tea coffee plantations. Check into hotel. Day free to relax at the resort. Night at the hotel.

Day 02 : Coorg sightseeing
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning proceed to Dubare elephant camp (try to reach in the morning hours, 08.00 Hrs) and spend some time with the Elephants. You can feed or help in bathing them. Proceed further to Cauvery Nisargadhama, a natural island formed by river Cauvery. It is a good place to relax and enjoy the lush foliage of thick bamboo groves. Your next stop is Bylakuppe, the temple has 62 feet Buddha statue covered with gold plates. It is the largest Tibetan settlement in South India. Night at the hotel.

Day 03: Coorg – Madikeri - Mysore
Breakfast at the hotel. Later, proceed to the confluence of two rivers, Cauvery and the Kanika known as Bhagamandala. A third river, the Sujyothi is also said to join from underground. Visit the birth place of Cauvery river known as Talacauvery. People treat it as a Holy river and often called Dakshin Kashi. In the afternoon proceed to Mysore (120 kms / 3 hrs). Night at the hotel.

Day 04 : Mysore
Full day free to explore Mysore visiting the famous Mysore Palace, Karanji Lake, St. Philomena’s Church, Krishnaraja Sagar, Chamundeshwari Temple etc. In the afternoon visit Brindavan gardens. Night at the hotel.

Day 05 : Mysore
Breakfast at the hotel. In time proceed to Mysore Railway / Airport for station for onward destination
